Printable SAT Study Schedules: Four, Eight and Twelve Weeks

Daily task templates with official-practice checkpoints, mistake review, flexible final-week preparation and downloadable PDF or CSV.

The short answer

Choose a four-, eight- or twelve-week task template, then align it to your actual date in the study-plan generator. The templates separate learning, fresh practice, mistake review and official checkpoints. Routine sessions take about 25 to 40 minutes; official tests need a separate full block and your applicable approved timing.

Day 1Choose a fresh official Bluebook practice test. Set aside a full uninterrupted test block with your applicable approved timing.Resource: Official Bluebook practice tests134Use the official score report as a starting point; record test conditions and any interruptions.
Day 2Review the baseline test. Group missed, guessed and slow questions by skill and underlying cause.Resource: Practice test review guide60Choose two repeatable skills; avoid treating a practice score as a guarantee.
Day 3Attempt fresh practice in linear-equation setup and substitution. Reconstruct the method without notes, then compare the reasoning.Resource: Linear equations one variable25Mark whether the method transferred, not just whether the answer matched.
Day 4Attempt fresh practice in independent and dependent clause boundaries. Explain one tempting wrong answer and name the decisive evidence before checking.Resource: Sentence boundaries25Explain one distractor in your own words.
Day 5Reattempt one earlier mistake without its explanation. Then attempt a different problem.Resource: Error log tool25Record retry result separately from fresh-check result.
Day 6Do a short mixed set, then review guesses and slow correct answers as well as errors.Resource: Practice library40Choose next week’s two skills from repeated causes, not a single difficult question.
Day 7Rest or organize the next week. Check your plan, device and official dates.Resource: Study plan generator10Write two specific next tasks and move sessions around school commitments.

Day 1Learn percentage bases and restoration rates. Attempt three examples before checking. Substitute your recurring weak math skill if the baseline points elsewhere.Resource: Percentages30Name the method and record one error cause.
Day 2Learn subject agreement and parallel structure. Identify the exact wording that decides each choice. Substitute your recurring weak Reading and Writing skill when needed.Resource: Form structure sense30Record the exact clause, word or evidence that decides the answer.

The eight-week and twelve-week files extend the same pattern, with a fresh official checkpoint in each week listed here.

Choose the time horizon

Four weeks: prioritize two recurring skills, review one midpoint checkpoint, then keep the final week light.

Eight weeks: use more cycles of learning, fresh practice and delayed review; compare fresh checkpoints in weeks 4 and 7.

Twelve weeks: allow repeated spaced checks and changing focus after official checkpoints in weeks 6 and 11.

The first week in every template establishes a fresh official baseline. The plan does not guarantee a score increase, and the number of weeks does not determine your score.

A normal week has a specific job each day

Day 1: Learn one priority math method. Attempt three examples before checking the solution. Allow about 30 minutes. Evidence to record: Name the method and record one error cause.

Day 2: Learn one priority Reading and Writing method. Explain why each wrong choice fails. Allow about 30 minutes. Evidence to record: Record the exact clause, word or evidence that decides the answer.

Day 3: Attempt a fresh math question in the same skill. Reconstruct yesterday’s method without notes. Allow about 25 minutes. Evidence to record: Mark whether the method transferred, not just whether the answer matched.

Day 4: Attempt fresh grammar or evidence questions. Read the entire explanation after your attempt. Allow about 25 minutes. Evidence to record: Explain one distractor in your own words.

Day 5: Reattempt one earlier mistake without its explanation. Then attempt a different problem. Allow about 25 minutes. Evidence to record: Record retry result separately from fresh-check result.

Day 6: Do a short mixed set, then review guesses and slow correct answers as well as errors. Allow about 40 minutes. Evidence to record: Choose next week’s two skills from repeated causes, not a single difficult question.

Day 7: Rest or organize the next week. Check your plan, device and official dates. Allow about 10 minutes. Evidence to record: Write two specific next tasks and move sessions around school commitments.

Keep official checkpoints comparable

Use a fresh official Bluebook test under appropriate conditions. Standard SAT testing time is 134 minutes, with a break scheduled separately; approved extended timing and setup need more time. Treat this as a full block, not a shortened routine session. Record interruptions and test conditions. A repeated test may be useful for review, but it is not independent evidence of improvement.

Adjust rather than abandon the schedule

The downloadable days name concrete suggested skills, beginning with linear-equation setup and clause boundaries, then progressing through percentage bases, agreement, quadratics, transitions and other representations. Replace those suggested skills with recurring weaknesses from your baseline when appropriate. The order is a PeakSAT planning suggestion, not an official curriculum or measured score-improvement formula.

Move sessions around school and protect sleep. If a fresh check fails, revisit the explanation and use a different example before adding a harder skill. If the official test date falls midweek, shift the final-week checklist accordingly. Confirm official dates and registration deadlines separately; these files are undated task templates.
