Terms of Service
Rules for using PeakSAT
Effective May 1, 2026
These Terms explain the rules for using PeakSAT, including accounts, subscriptions, assessment content, AI-generated lessons, and acceptable use.
Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PeakSAT, including our website, assessments, dashboards, practice tools, lessons, account features, payment pages, and related services. By using PeakSAT, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
If you are using PeakSAT on behalf of a student, family, school, company, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that use.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use PeakSAT. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use PeakSAT only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
PeakSAT is designed for SAT preparation and related study. It is not intended for children under 13, and you may not use the product if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
Accounts and security
You may need an account to use most PeakSAT features. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity under your account unless the activity results from our failure to use reasonable security measures.
The PeakSAT service
PeakSAT provides SAT-style assessments, projected scores, topic-level analytics, targeted practice, explanations, saved-question and missed-question review, study resources, and AI-generated lessons. Product features may change as we improve the service.
PeakSAT is independent SAT prep. PeakSAT is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with College Board. SAT is a trademark of College Board.
No score guarantee
PeakSAT is a study tool. We work to make assessments, explanations, analytics, and recommendations useful, but we do not guarantee any test score, admission result, scholarship result, school placement, or other outcome.
Projected scores, topic maps, proficiency estimates, recommendations, explanations, and AI-generated lessons are educational estimates and should not be treated as official SAT results.
Subscriptions, trials, and billing
PeakSAT may offer free access, trials, discounts, weekly plans, monthly plans, multi-month plans, or other paid plans. Plan details shown at checkout control the price, access period, renewal terms, and included features for that purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting payment information, you authorize us and Stripe to charge the applicable fees, taxes, renewals, and other amounts disclosed at checkout. Unless a plan says otherwise, paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You can cancel through the subscription management flow in your account or by contacting us. Cancellations normally take effect at the end of the current billing period unless the product states otherwise. Refunds are provided only where required by law or expressly offered by PeakSAT.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse PeakSAT or interfere with the product, content, infrastructure, or other users.
- Do not copy, scrape, resell, republish, or redistribute PeakSAT questions, explanations, lessons, designs, or data except as allowed by the product.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, payment controls, authentication, rate limits, security measures, or technical restrictions.
- Do not use PeakSAT to cheat on an official test, violate test rules, infringe intellectual property, harass others, upload malicious code, or break the law.
- Do not reverse engineer, overload, probe, or attack the service, or use automated systems in a way that harms PeakSAT or degrades availability.
- Do not share an account in a way that avoids payment limits or gives unauthorized access to paid features.
Content and intellectual property
PeakSAT and its software, designs, assessments, questions, explanations, lesson formats, analytics, trademarks, and other content are owned by PeakSAT or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, PeakSAT grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the product for your own SAT preparation or permitted educational use.
If you submit feedback, reviews, suggestions, or support messages, you grant PeakSAT permission to use them to operate, improve, and promote the product without compensation to you, unless prohibited by law.
Your data and account deletion
Your assessment answers, scores, topic proficiency, bookmarks, practice history, and similar account data remain associated with your account so PeakSAT can provide personalized recommendations and review features.
You can request deletion or use the account deletion feature where available. Account deletion is intended to remove your account data and cancel active subscriptions, but limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Third-party services
PeakSAT relies on third-party services, including authentication, hosting, analytics, payment, email, AI, and infrastructure providers. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, but we choose providers to help us operate PeakSAT and protect the service.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for PeakSAT or other users, failed to pay amounts due, or used the product unlawfully. You may stop using PeakSAT at any time.
Disclaimers and limits on liability
PeakSAT is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PeakSAT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or academic or admissions outcomes. Our total liability for claims relating to PeakSAT will not exceed the amount you paid to PeakSAT in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to the service or Terms
We may modify PeakSAT or these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law and contact
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
