Our editorial approach · October 7, 2026

Useful advice. Clear sources.

PeakSAT publishes digital SAT guides to help you understand the test, learn from mistakes and choose your next practice task. Our articles are prepared under the PeakSAT Editorial Team byline. PeakSAT also sells SAT preparation software, and our guides may link to it.

Facts come from the source

We check test format, scoring, practice resources and test-day rules against the College Board pages linked in each article. Calculator instructions use official Desmos documentation. Sources appear near relevant claims and in a source list, so you can verify them yourself.

Examples are practice, not promises

Our worked problems, error logs and study schedules are original teaching examples. Hypothetical scores and college ranges are labeled as examples. Schedules are starting points to adapt, not research-proven formulas for a particular score increase. We do not guarantee score gains or admissions results.

How the guides are prepared

We use AI tools to assist with research and drafting, then check factual statements against cited sources and verify worked calculations. This byline does not imply that a named teacher, admissions officer or College Board representative reviewed the article. Publication and source-check dates are shown on each guide.

Rules can change

Registration dates, device requirements and college testing policies change. Follow the official linked instructions for your test administration and each college’s admissions cycle. PeakSAT is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by College Board.
