What it is
An AI SAT tutor helps you reason through a question using conversational hints, step help and explanations. PeakSAT uses Google AI with the selected question's passage, choices and the work you share as context. Before you answer, request a hint or the next reasoning step. After a recorded attempt, ask why a choice failed or request a narrated walkthrough and a fresh related drill. You can also share a photo, voice question or whiteboard work, and ask the coach about your study schedule and pacing.
How it helps
Ask for the next step
Hint and step modes are designed to keep you working through the reasoning, rather than opening the full solution immediately.
Show where you got stuck
Add a photo, voice question or whiteboard work so the AI can respond to the work you share.
Review the reason behind a miss
After submitting an answer, compare the choices, hear a narrated explanation and request a checked related drill.
How it works
The steps you take in the PeakSAT app, in order.
- Step 1
Open a practice question
Use the question's tutor panel to keep the passage, choices and problem context attached to your request.
- Step 2
Request a hint and try it
Choose Hint or Step by step, describe the sticking point and do the suggested reasoning yourself.
- Step 3
Explain the completed attempt
Submit your answer, then use Explain to examine the solution and the choices before trying related practice.

Illustrative workflow: getting past an algebra setup
This example describes actions a student could take. It is not a live AI response or a student result.
- Step 1
Open a linear-equation practice question and select Hint when you are unsure how to start.
- Step 2
Share the expression you wrote, then try the next step before asking another question.
- Step 3
Submit your answer and request an explanation of your choice, followed by a fresh related drill.
Who it’s for
Useful when you can identify a question or a piece of work that is blocking you, or want help deciding how to practice next.

Common questions
Can I ask for help before answering?
Yes. Question-specific Hint and Step by step modes are available while you work. Full question explanations and narrated solution walkthroughs require a recorded attempt.
Can the tutor work with a photo or voice question?
Yes. You can share a photo, record a voice question or add digital whiteboard work. Include the complete prompt and readable work so the AI has enough information to respond.
Is the SAT tutor a real person?
No. Responses come from Google AI. The coach uses available study evidence for planning and pacing guidance, but it does not guarantee a score or provide medical advice.
