The short answer

Khan Academy’s official digital SAT Math and Reading and Writing courses are free. UWorld sells a separate SAT question bank starting at $99 and a fuller video-and-practice course starting at $299. Compare the exact product, access period and explanation you need. Use free Bluebook tests for official full-length digital practice with either choice.

The QBank and full course are different purchases. A starting QBank price does not establish its access period; check the selected plan.

When Khan Academy meets the need

Start here if you need to relearn a concept without buying a course. Work through a lesson, attempt the exercises and use a course challenge to find gaps. Teachers can assign work and review progress.

Older SAT tutorials may describe full tests inside Khan Academy or importing College Board scores. Current digital SAT guidance places full-length official tests in Bluebook and says direct account linking and previous-score imports are no longer supported. Follow the current course and Bluebook workflow.

When to inspect UWorld’s QBank or course

Inspect the QBank if your main need is additional questions with detailed explanations. Inspect the course if you also want video instruction, study guides and a planned sequence. UWorld describes custom quizzes, flashcards and notebook tools; planning is not exclusive to another app.

Its listed course periods are 30 days for $299, 90 for $349, 180 for $399 and 360 for $449. For example, the 90-day course costs $50 more than the 30-day course at these listings. Choose an access window you can use; extra days do not guarantee learning. These are course prices, not monthly QBank subscriptions.

Try one skill before choosing a whole library

Choose a skill from a missed official practice question. Learn it through a Khan lesson, then attempt a fresh problem without the solution. If you still need more varied practice, inspect a UWorld explanation and the task you would do next.

Compare whether you can explain the reasoning, identify the original mistake and apply a correction independently. Neither question count nor a confident score prediction proves a better result. Keep official Bluebook results separate from provider estimates.

PeakSAT as another option

PeakSAT offers paid SAT practice with Google AI help, saved daily tasks and mistake review. Explore its free worked examples and study tools, then compare its pricing and trial terms if that workflow fills a gap. Buying another app is unnecessary when the free resources meet your need.

Sources and review method

PeakSAT publishes this guide and sells the alternative mentioned above. Official product pages were checked October 21, 2026. Paid trials were not tested. This is a comparison of documented products and access terms, not a study proving that one provider raises student scores more.
