What it is
SAT lessons teach a skill before asking you to apply it. PeakSAT's course includes prerequisite, foundation and advanced lessons for 29 skill topics, plus four strategy lessons, for 91 lessons with narrated videos. Read the concept, work through examples and complete the checkpoints to record progress. The course includes Desmos graphing strategies, pacing, stamina and resetting after a difficult question. Lessons are created with Google AI and independently checked by AI before publication. A downloadable coursebook provides the written material for study away from the lesson player.
How it helps
Start at a useful level
Prerequisite, foundation and advanced paths connect basic preparation to harder applications of each skill.
Work through the reasoning
Concept blocks, solved examples and narrated videos show the steps; checkpoints ask you to apply them yourself.
Practice test decisions too
Separate strategy lessons cover Desmos, pacing, stamina and a practical reset after getting stuck.
How it works
The steps you take in the PeakSAT app, in order.
- Step 1
Choose a skill and an available phase
Open the course library, choose a topic and start with the prerequisite lesson or an unlocked foundation lesson.
- Step 2
Study the examples and narration
Read the worked steps, play the narrated lesson and try applicable graph expressions or reasoning on your own.
- Step 3
Submit every checkpoint
Answer all checkpoints, review the feedback and meet the completion threshold before moving to the next gated phase.
Illustrative example: Not real student data or live output
Illustrative workflow: learning linear functions
This example describes a course path. It is not a completed learner record or a guarantee of skill mastery.
- Step 1
Choose Linear functions and use the prerequisite lesson if foundation is still locked.
- Step 2
Work through the foundation examples, compare the equation and graph, then answer every checkpoint.
- Step 3
After passing foundation, open the advanced lesson and apply the method to a harder question.
Who it’s for
Useful when a missed question reveals an underlying concept gap, or when you want structured examples before attempting harder practice.
Limits and access
The course, narrated videos and downloadable coursebook require paid access or an eligible trial. AI correctness checks do not make the content infallible or human-taught. Reset guidance is educational coaching, not medical treatment, and completion does not guarantee a score.

Common questions
Do I have to take every prerequisite lesson?
Prerequisite completion normally unlocks foundation. Strong recorded topic proficiency can also unlock foundation. Advanced lessons require a passed foundation checkpoint, while the four strategy tracks each have one foundation lesson.
How do I complete a lesson?
Answer every checkpoint and submit them. A score of at least 80% records completion. Review the explanations and retry the concepts if the current attempt does not pass.
Are the videos taught by a human instructor?
No. They are narrated instructional videos built from Google AI lesson storyboards and Google text-to-speech. Lessons go through an independent AI correctness review before publication, and a written coursebook is also available.
